My daughter received a threatening IM from someone with the username of yeah_right874. They specifically threatened her and my granddaughter who is merely 9 months old. I need to know who she can report this to on Yahoo to get this person stopped. I've already told her to report this to our local police but we also want this person stopped from doing this online. Please advise.

Copy and paste the conversations to a wordpad document then mail a print out of the file to the FBI, The FCC, The offenders ISP and take one print out in person to your local Police Department. They'll get right on top of it; also call a lawyer and file harassment charges. I had a cyberstalker a while back that I recieved threatening email from so I forwarded the threatening email to the abuse department of the isp my stalker used. I found out later that the isp in question terminated the offenders account and barred them from using that isp for the rest of the offenders life. I have not been contacted from that stalker again.

send to your internet provider along with police and FBI and FCC as this was done over telephone lines or cable and this is federally reg. and considered a 3rd degree felony.. hope it helps... but start with isp provider and local police
Also go into properties, go into preferences, and block the email addy in Yahoo email then she wont get anymore email from them... easily done on this part at least

block the contact are send the person a virus if any body send me threatening ims i will send a virus i bet the person is some kid (s) trying to get attention those bastards.
