How has techology impacted the world of science? How does technology help scientists?

Technology makes it so that one person can achieve much more in a shorter period of time, and that it makes it poswsible to take measurements that werent able to be taken before.

From someone who was around before computers were easily available, YES YES YES - technology has helped scientists. Long computations in only one example. The building of equipment to make measurments has increased greatly thru technology. For example (the list is long) - telescopes, space probes, particle accelerators and many many more areas.
