Let's say it's 2000 or 2004.
Knowing what you know now about how his presidency would turn out, would you still vote for him?
Those of you who voted for him in 2000/2004, would you take that back if you could, or are you still supportive of him?

I was too young to vote in 2004, but I never would have voted for Bush.
However, I don't think Kerry was a very appealing alternative.

scheidi -- Your choices are, obviously, the candidates from 2000 and 2004, so I don't understand your confusion.

I would have still voted for him in both. The 2004 election was primarily about terrorism and morals. (you can check the 04 polls) Bush was strongly opposed to sitting back and waiting to get attacked again. He was the moral choice compared to Kerry. Kerry would have tried to negotiate with the Islam Extremists, which would have been horrible. I'm glad I voted for Bush. That doesn't mean I agree with everything he's done but he was the best choice

Didn't vote for him either time, never voted for his dad, never voted anything but Lib in 32 years of voting. Till now. Traditionally, the Libs run the worst example of "liberalism" they can find. Remember the "anybody but Bush" mantra from last election??? That's NOT the way to win an election. The whole lib thing of "Cons say black, so we say white" whining ain't gonna cut it anymore. Where is the accountability? Where is the vision? Where are the true LEADERS in a time where leadership is so sorely lacking in America?
The Cons are just as bad, if not worse, as if that were humanly possible. Both parties need to be held answerable AND responsible for their treasonous voting records and party platforms.
Until America wakes up to the treasonous folly of their own elected politicians, they are doomed to suffer the consequences of their own stupid decision to re-elect them...

I personnally don't believe his presidency has turned out as bad as the media would have you believe.
I don't agree with the way he has handled a few different issues.
I'm not happy that he has allowed government spending to go unchecked the way he has...
His policy where the illegal aliens are concerned infuriates me...
BUT.. He has put our countries safety at the top of his agenda and he has done a fine job holding the terrorists off.
Yes, I would vote for him again.

I never vote simply cause i dont like anyone who runs for president and i dont like the people in our government either all they are is a bunch of rich dumb *** pricks that stick their noses into other countrys buisness and blow off the country their sappose to be sapporting (USA) great example would be New orleans when kartrina hit that should say it all. As for Bush he should have never had a chance to be elected all he wanted to do is get into a war his daddy started and basically focked his own country. and thats what i think about that!

The question is moot, bordering on retarded. What are my choices?
If Bush/Gore or Bush/Kerry, I'll choose Bush, even today.
If Bush/Biden or Bush/Clinton or Bush/McCain or Bush/Guilianni, Bush would not get my vote. Give some context to your question.

Yes. Not that I agree with everything that he has done -- the stem cell veto was asinine. But none of his opponents have had remotely credible views as to what to do about Islamofascism or Iraq.

Yeah, but no enthusiastically. Bush did not do a great job. Bush did not do a terrible job. But he was a better choice than Kerry, Nader, and Gore.
