Have Norelco now, it is not comfortable, doesn't shave close, is not fast, it is hard to clean and the heads said to last for 6 months rarely last more than 2 wks. Heads are expensive. Recommendations?

I couldn't agree with you more. I have tried so many different models and finally have come to the conclusion that I prefer regualar shaving. If you really take your time the BRAUN will give you a close shave. The reason I chose it is for the SELF CLEANING!!!!! You have to buy the little tubs of blue water, but they are not expensive, and it certainly beats cleaning it yourself.

Point is, if you don't save a lot of time and the old fashioned way is better.

Braun advertises the heads at 18 but I have a few months extra and I am just now at the point to start thinking about it.

Braun is very good. Heads last 18 months. I have the Activator self cleaning model. It is about $160.
