Ok so I just found out that somebody has a crush on me. The problem is, is that he is one of my best friends. What should I do?I see him often so I can't like avoid him. I think I should just go on with my life like normal, like nothing is different. What do you think I should do?

I like him only as a friend. I don't want to make things awkward. I especially don't want to ruin this friendship.

Just tell him that you enjoy your friendship with him and aren't ready to try to have a relationship with him. If he is truly a FRIEND he will understand. The first thing you need to do is wait until he brings it to you. You'd look silly if it isn't true and you said that to him.

Like I stated in question I encountered before. Men and women can't be friends unless their is absolutely no attraction between the two. If one finds the other attractive and this feeling is not mutual then there will be some hurt and probably some bitter feelings. It is best to be open with him and tell him the truth on your feelings. It is only fair to both of you and hopefully he will understand and can accept it. Don't ignore it!

Keep him as your best friend, confide in him about other guys that you're interested in so that he'll know that he's a confidante and a friend, and not boyfriend material. And laugh with him a lot, but try to keep it in groups, going on as usual. And maybe set him up with someone too, even though I have a feeling you may get jealous once you see him with someone else.

First off - where did you get your info? Judge the source first.
Second - just keep going on like you have been. The best of friends makes a great relationship!

Is alot simpler than you think. If he is aware that you know already, then you should explaine to him the role he plays in your life (friend). If he has no idea you know, then why disrupt the flow of what you have now. Just treat it as is and as is it will remain. Only way it can turn to anything else, is you pursuing it and responding to his advances.

Okay...pursue this matter with caution!! I understand what you are saying and you do not wish to mess up agood friendship, to gain a relaitonship..which may not work. Express your feelings and concerns openly...make it clear..that IF you both decide to pursue a relationship...in spite of what happens..you will remain friends 'til the end!

Your right just go on with your life and be flattered he likes you. But just incase he trys to make a move on you you should tell him that you like him as a friend. You dont wanna plant any seeds in his head.

Laugh at him, tell him it's sweet but forget it. You like him to much to ruin it with love. Then laugh again and tell him you're going to start posting his picture on dating sites if he doesn't let up on you. Keep it light hearted, not heavy.

And reaffirm the friendship.

And if he won't let up, give him up...you can find more friends without the drama.

If you like him then tell him him. If you don't then confront him and say you like him as a friend but don't see him as anything more than that. If you ignore it it will just get worse and he may even grow to resent you.
