my husband and I have a beautiful 9 month old baby boy, but he still doesnt have any teeth.I know that it is normal for some babies not to have teeth at this age and we are not worried about it, but I was wondering how old were your children then they started teething?

The dentist say that the later a baby's teeth come in the better off there teeth will be in the future. Shame for me.
My son got his first tooth at 6 months and his second tooth at 6 1/2 months. My daughter is 7 months right now and hasn't started to have any come in yet. She does have a slight fever right now so she might be getting a tooth sometime soon.
My sister's baby boy got his first tooth when he was only 3 months old. Amazing and crazy is what I think about that.
You just wait and see, your baby will have his first tooth come in and then all of a sudden he will just keep getting teeth one right after another. Have plenty of Orejal on hand.
Relieves the pain of teething.

My daughter was 3 months when she started teething. My boyfriend and myself were kinda worried about her teething early, but she's a healthy but tall 10 month old. She has 7 teeth now.

My son was four months when his first tooth began to appear. He is seven months now and only has two teeth. I talked to my doctor about this and some infants are born with teeth whereas some infants don't start teething until they are a year old. Every child is different.

Baby Boys usually get there teeth later then baby girls. My son didn't get his teeth til 10 months. I was so scared they were never gonna come in and then when they did he got four at one time. Two on top and two n the bottom. Don't worry they'll come in soon!

My son has had a somewhat widely used the teeth development, yet a exact buddy of mine has a daughter who did no longer get any the teeth in any respect till 11 months or so and had purely some for a while and a while. i understand this because of the fact while she became 18 months previous they have been traveling and he or she unexpectedly broke 2-3 the teeth at as quickly as. My buddy observed them and he or she and her husband hugged their daughter and reported "Thank God! you at the instant are not likely to be a toothless freak!" (they have been kidding of course.) My ped refuses to even answer questions approximately while the teeth will look and in what order because of the fact it is so random and he or she would not decide to stress people who do no longer see the teeth while "predicted". She in basic terms smiles and says "wait and notice, wait and notice."

my daughter was 8 1/2 months before she got her first two teeth, but now at 15 months she has 12. So they came fast after the first broke through.

I think my daughter was around 6 months when she got her first tooth. Maybe a little older.

My cousin was worried because her 18 month old only had 6 teeth, then the baby's grandfather discovered accidentally that she had all 4 pre-molars. My cousin didn't even notice them. I guess it is really true that every kid is different.

it all depends on the individual!, my son only has 4 teeth and he is one years old, he didnt get his first until he was 10 months old.Where as my best friends child is the same age, she got her teeth when she was 5/6 months and now she has a whole set.
dont worry!!!! if you are concerned speak to your health visitor as they are a great source of help.
Give your baby cold carrot this helps them to break the gums (never leave your child alone with food however.)

My daughter got her first tooth when she was 11 months and her second the day before her first b-day. I asked her doc about it at her 1 yr. check up and she said that when the teeth take a long time to come in (like your little boy and my little girl), they are less likely to need dental work such as braces. So be happy about all the money you will save when he gets to that age!
