You can get a birth certificate from the hospital from where you were born.
Next place is to check the state vital records that will be at the capital in the state you were born. You will have to send them two forms of ID. Your school should be able to give you a copy if you need one now..
Hope this helps

You can actually call the Bureau of Vital Statistics in MN, and they will send you the birth certificate. Some of them will take a credit card over the phone. If not, get the price and send them a check with a note, telling them your name, address, maiden name (if married), etc. Also, tell them the date of birth, Father's name, Mother's name, etc. You can ask them what they need when you call. Hopefully, you can get this done on the phone.

It's about $15, contact the county office of the area you were born and they should be able to locate a copy for you. I think it takes about 2 weeks or so. Good luck!

go to the health department or write bureau of vital statistics where you were born. Seem's like I paid 15.00 when you get it file it at the court house in records so you don't have to pay again. If your in the state you were born it doesn't take but a few minutes. If you have to write to Alaska it takes a couple of weeks. luck.
