No problem. Nobody (in America) really takes their own religion that seriously anyway, except priests and nuns, and they don't get married.

I don't know, but I would add that any group of people who follow any religion strictly (this includes Christians too), should not be allowed to mingle with folk who don't want to be a part of an organised religion.
Religion should be a personal thing. Everyone has a need for a god; the form of which should not be important.
The trouble with an organised religion (Jews, Christians, Muslims etc) is that each of these religions teach that they are the only true religion, and that any other religion is wrong. This is what causes contention and aggravation between different religions, sects, breeds, races, however you want to word it.

My Christian brother is married to the most beautiful, bright, and charming woman who is Muslim. It is a fabulously happy marriage. A close friend is Jewish and her husband is Hindu. They too are happy. I am a pacifist married to an Army Officer.... Love is love!

Except for the fact that Muslims want to kill all non-Muslims, sure it would work real good.

Though poopie pants puts it directly...I would say, "Don't let something as a middle eastern religion come before love. My Wife is Catholic, and I am agnostic...I am in love and it is worth more than my life! (She feels the same!) Let you--and your loves--Love be the all of your life...not those middle eastern religious philosophies.

I've met several such couples. Almost all were from Turkey and they seemed to have a pretty good relationship.
