Sometimes women will miss a period or have a very lite period or spotting due to stress, not eating right or she could even be pregnant. When a woman is pregnant she can have spotting like that. Some woman will actually still have a period when pregnant & even throughout the pregnancy sometimes. If she is taking birth contol pills she still could get pregnant. I did with my first child. If you still have questions go to the doctor. I would recommend acuppressure for regularity under stress. It is the best remedy to millions of issues & problems.

Has she started any new forms of birth control? If so this is normal.

Stress can be linked to this. Starting a new job or something drastically new in her life.

Is the spotting bloody, oderous, green, or does it look like a normal menstral cycle?

pass see a healthcare specialist. I had extremely tousled sessions and the healthcare specialist stumbled on a tumor larger than a grape fruit. when I had the surgical treatment to get rid of it, my sessions were given again heading in the right direction. ( also, i replaced into not in any respect waiting to have youthful little ones yet am engaged on doing so now.) i do not prefer to scare you or some thing! yet some circumstances abnormal sessions may be an illustration of alternative issues. Please pass see your healthcare specialist. also check out this information superhighway website.

Could be pregnancy, stress, or a handful of other illnesses. Suggest your wife take a pregnancy test, and see a doctor.

It could be nothing, there's such a thing called mittelschmerz, which means middle pain, but I would have it checked out.
It could be a cyst, but it could also be cervical cancer and therefore its important to have a pap smear ASAP.

Any unusual spotting/bleeding urgently needs medical investigation, do not ignore it. I hope everything is ok.
