Each shy guy has their own reasons why they act that way.I think the main reason is the fear of rejection.
For myself, it's a combination of the fear of rejection,fear of being embarrassed and a defence against being hurt.When it comes to a woman I'm interested in,it's not just the fear of rejection,it's the fear of acceptance.Sometimes being alone and in control is comfortable.If a woman came into my life she would introduce unpredictability into my life,I would lose control.That honestly scares me.I'm slowly letting go of these fears.

My name is Roger and I am a truck driver. I am very shy around woman. Why I am shy. Really can't say. Have been all my life. I am a very good looking man and make very good money. But on top of all that. Just shy. Really don't have all those lines that other men seem to use. I find it best to just be my self.

overwhelmed by beauty, unsure and not wanting **** it up. sometimes it's : oh **** I dont want to screw this up ; I'm playing it safe and saying little not to screw it up till I know her better; until topics and each persons preferences are learned. it's brutal till you learn that person ; and the things to talk about; after that stage ; it gets better and better. and then wow this is awesome
