and i know that the rabbits arent real because i was on a magic site and it said to make ur own fake rabbits for the trick but it didn't say how to make them

Sure the rabbits are real. Most of the time they are alive (vs. stuffed) and twitching, sniffing, etc.
[Without giving it away] The trick isn't that the rabbit isn't real. The trick is getting the rabbit into the hat, and having you believe that it "magically" appeared there.
Gosh, did you ever think that a website might be making something up to preserve the "magic" of the trick?
The rabbits are real. Real, real, real.

Actually, magicians can pull real rabbits out of hats without any harm to the rabbit at all. The same is true for doves and other animals used in magic.
