Besides weakness, why do individuals do it? I've always been curious to why an individual could do such a thing when they both said, "I do's" when they got married as well as in front of their family and friends. What do you guys think or feel?

I don't know besides the typical answers: Lack of attention, bored, unromantic, not getting sex enough, anger, drunkeness, etc. Some people are just more prone to cheat and continue to cheat. I think,in their case, that they just love the thrill of the chase. It's seems that the underlying factor is the lack of maturity and morals with the cheater.

For the older man it is an ego trip, especially someone younger, lots younger than he is. For the wife it is lonliness, unsatisfied, and feels somewhat neglected by her mate, or husband. Normally it will take only a couple of drinks after work. If the wife suspects her husband of being unfaithful, and probably knows it she will, more than likely do the same.

Latest survery 43% percent of married females are unfaithful to their spouse. For the male it is about 57%..

But as far as not loving your mate, it is just normally an extra-marital affair.

Just remember one thing...YOU WILL GET CAUGHT........

The trigger is usually feeling ignored and mistreated, coupled with a fear of missing out on life. I'm convinced there is less cheating in unmarried couples, because they don't feel trapped by marriage, and the dread of living out a lifetime vow in a state of frustration and loneliness. Unmarried couples don't take the relationship for granted, and they tend to work things out, knowing there is no guarantee.

We are human and the concept of only having sex with one person for the rest of your life is completely alien to our nature. Marriage is a superficial veneer on our animal instincts to mate. Saying "I do" 10 years ago is hardly going to matter when spouses infrequently have sex and some young thing comes along that is very attractive to one spouse or the other.

is like after a few years of marriage, the flame seems to wear out, and the grass is always greener on the other side. we always tend to think that someone looks better that what we have. but how wrong are we! if we could only Cherish what we have and enjoy, and nurture our spouses, but the LUST never ware out.. this is where GOD should and comes in big time..the bible tells us to love our spouses, like the LORD love the church.. we would be happy.. we always say "if i only would have married some else, or let me see what it feels like.."but for me, i LOVE MY WIFE, and i Cherish her, she's everything to me. i know for sure, that there's no doubt, in my mind. there's not a slide st notion of me looking at someone else. because i LOVE THE LORD. he gives me the strength. oh! yes to go along wih this I DRINK JUMAICAN RUM..LOL

people stop trying or one or both start to feel neglected. The excitement isn't there so when someone else comes along that all of a sudden makes them feel desirable....well, you know the rest
