What is the thing you hate most about her?
I don't know WHY she moves like she's having a seizure, it's pathetic...

I love this question so much because I can't STAND Shakira! There are two things I hate most that she does:
1.) I hate when she makes her voice go so manly low, she (no offense) sounds like someone with Down Syndrome singing. It doesn't sound that bad when she sings like a normal person.
2.) I hate that dance move (if you could call it a dance move) she has where she stands in one spot, thrashes her head from side to side, and shakes her breasts up and down. This move is featured at least once in every music video.
I just think, how full of yourself to you have to be that all your music videos are, are just you wearing next to nothing, wiggling your hips, and literally singing about how hot you are. That is all she does...and she's got millions of dollars...it kills me! Thank you for this question, so that I could vent!

Oh, I'm not a Shakira Hater but this caught my eye....
#1. BELLY DANCING- that's what it's called. It's a CULTURED DANCE.
#2. She writes MOST of her own songs. Don't beleive me? Her 1st single EVER 'Magia' was about the 1st time she fell in love. 'Donde Estan Los Ladrones?' was about a time where 3 men stole notebook(s) of song lyrics from her at the airport.
#3. NOBODY speaks 'perfect English' because NOBODY has perfect grammar....
#4. She's not an ego-maniac; she founded a charity called 'Pies Descalsos' for poor children in Colombia.

The thing I hate about her is that she doesn't write her own songs. She's a pre-fabricated pop star. Some record label decided to create the next big thing. They hired some talented musician to write a catchy song. They held tryouts where lots of people with talent were told they weren't good enough, or that they just didn't have "It". They picked this good looking woman, inserted her in their plastic cut-out, "Make a Star" kit, then paid off radio stations to play her song over and over again, until it's stuck in everyone's head. People don't buy her albums because they actually like her music. They are just brainwashed to the point where they blank out in a music store and all they can do is regurgiate the same thing over and over again

she sings horribleat the vma's she was the worst who sang live! she cant talk or sing english perfectly so she does have a messed up voice ughhhh i just hate the way they promote her, like shes a big thing shes just a fake singer with disturbign dance moves!

I like her song hips don't lie but I don't like the way she sings. She sounds kinda manly and the song hips don't lie is a way for her to say look how hot i am. I can't control my hips.... eehhhhhh I'm Shakira.

Her dancing is what I hate the least. It's her voice, her awful, fake, fabricated voice. It's just noise. I can't stand listening to her songs, who told her she could sing??? And in interviews, she speaks so low, like playing a character, oh so fragile and tender! FAKE!

I don't like that she seems to have a big ego on her and it shows though her movements in dances. While her danceing looks a little too thought out it you know i mean.
