With some "thought" these answers are faaarr from being manipulative, Relationships can sometimes "splinter" when there is no honest communications about how the other party feels, or when one does not truly know what the other person expects of them, Honest commune can often times be the glue that helps to hold some relationships in check. intelligent folk would know that, and answer for that purpose, or ignore the question. rather than offer critical garb just to grab 2 pts.

I would never say that.
It's an ultimatum. It's a needy, desperate statement meant to provoke a specific reaction from the other person through guilt. It's manipulative.
I would imagine that the other person would lose a lot of respect for me if I used that line.
I have had someone use that line on me, and I despise it.
The answer to that line is, "If YOU really loved me you wouldn't resort to childish guilt trips in order to manipulate me".

quit cheating, come home after work, quit going to bars, quit hanging out with all those "quality" women, pay more attention to the kids, start spending more time with me, take out the trash, pick up your dirty socks, call your mom, take a shower everyday, go to work everyday, buy me that diamond ring i've been begging for, do everything i say!

I try not it use that expression seriously, only when I'm joking around with my husband and he knows I'm not serious.

If I had to pick one thing to finish that statement,
"If you loved me, you will be honest and faithful. You won't lie to me or cheat on me."
