1. Stand by Me -- Greatest movie of all time
No other movies compare to stand by me, so it is the only one worthy of my list

We may have a generational gap here but here goes and my first pick is a toss up between two titles:

1) "The Day The Earth Stood Still" and/or "Forbidden Planet" - Classic Sci-Fi films that really started it all. God forbid stereotypical Hollywood remakes either one and changes ANYTHING in the script except for updating the wardrobes and military vehicles in "Day". Peter Jackson might be able to do an acceptable remake of either but hands off to the rest of them!

2) "The Wizard of Oz"- only the original "Willy Wonka" with Gene Wilder comes anywhere close to this classic fantasyland showcase but there will never be another Judy Garland or Land of Oz.

3) "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowshiip of the Ring" and the sequels. Need I say more? No but I will - I never read the books but I am so glad I saw the films. Thank you, Peter Jackson for bringing them to life.

1: Fight Club (because it was so tricky and psychologically O.T.T.)
2: The original Richard Attenborough musical version of Dr. Dolittle (Because it spoke of things close to my heart when I was 11 years old and the world around me was telling me lies about these things.)
3: I don't know the tiltle! I have even asked about it on "Yahoo Answers" but no-one can tell me. It is a film (perhaps Canadian) set in Siberia. The story of a hunter who is outcast with his dog, and adopts two tiger cubs. The dog disappears and the cubs are kidnapped by circus agents. It has a happy ending, but was so moving and well made that I cried all the way through. (Because of the message: that one human individual can realize everyone else is wrong, and be true to his inner nature, and that tigers are so beautiful.)

Scream (funny, fast, quirky and sharp - plus it has amazing one liners & soundtrack)
Clue (Funny everytime you watch it no matter how many times youve seen it)
Pretty in Pink (timeless, great soundtrack and a nice story to!)

I think that my favourite stays the same but beyond that it depends on my mood and theres always such good new movies coming out. But right now those are the ones!
