2 and 3. I saw both and they scared me out of my mind. I also the the exorcist...IT SUCKED!!!

What Lies Beneath was the scariest because all of the other movies listed seem totally unreaistic and non-believable. The Exorcist only seems so scary because it was the first really good horror movie ever made and it is a religous movie. Back then religion was a bigger deal than it is now so it kind of shocked people. What Lies Beneath has the least farfetched story to it. I have seen all of these and they were great movies just not that scary.

I would say The Ring then What Lies Beneath then Exorcist for the top 3 scariest out of this list.

Out of all of these movies... What Lies Beneath is the scariest to me. With all of the other movies I can at least tell myself... it's a story. What Lies Beneath is terrifying because it could actually happen to you.

I saw all of these. Ok counting down. In my opinion:
1st - The Exorcist (Wasn't expecting the drama)
2nd - What Lies Beneath (One hell-a-fied Melodrama)
3rd - The Ring (It was different)
4th - The Grudge (That slime came so close to my TV Screen)
5th - The Ring 2 (Wasn't as good as the 1st)

The Exorcist all the way.........it was made so long ago without all the special effects they use now and it is still scarier than any other movie

the exorcist.... nothing beats the crucifix scene...
but my #1 choice for scariest is 13 GHOSTS
oh my god!! that was an experience!
