my boyf told me he had a fling with his cousin 10 years ago and it meant nothing. he says she is the closest faamily hes got and bec he told me it was nothing i believed him even tho they were still txting each other dirty etc until he got with me. now iv found all their love letters n its alot more than a fling it lasted 5 yrs!! he still doesnt know iv read them im in bits bec me and him have never been that close n we have a daughter together> what do i do????

It sounds to me like what is bothering you more is the closeness between your boyf and his cousin, rather than the fact that she's his cousin (which is a whole separate moral issue). So you need to ask 'Why aren't we that close?' and figure out whether you're just going through a bad patch or whether he just isn't the one for you and you could have a much better, closer relationship with someone else.

Everytime a person finds someone new it opens up a different, and possibly, more exciting chapter in their life. I`m sure he`s done things with you that he has never done with his cousin and those types of moments are the one`s that should be remembered by you, not the one`s you read in old love letters. You probably now think that you will never be able to measure up to your boyfriends cousin because of the things that they did together. Please don`t beat yourself around the head with this as you are something special to him, the fact you have a daughter to him should speak volumes. Don`t give up on yourself and your bf. It`ll all come good.

You need to be honest with him and tell him how upset you are about this. You probably need to get out of the relationship, but have a good talk with him first. And next time don't have babies with a man who doesn't care enough about you to marry you!
