The contract argument is valid....the big names, Hall, Nash, Hogan, Sting, didn't sign with WCW, They signed with Turner network....

WcW couldn't afford them, so guaranteed contracts with the parent company were done....

Hence I sit at home for 2,3,4,5 years and still get paid 1,2,3, million dollars, but am also unavailable to wrestle elswhere due toe the No Competition clause......

Hall and Nash(NwO reveival) cost a lot of money to get their contracts voided, and they lasted months at new high contracts with WWE, hence Vince was wary of investing again....

BUT....he is also Reborn and didn't want any part of Attitude, strippers, hardcore nastiness, etc.

That is why when HBK(also Reborn) came back, there was brief hope that just maybe he could be talked into coming over....

From what I read way back then, they made the WCW wrestlers tryout for the WWE. Some of the guys did, like DDP, Booker T, and Kidman. Some tried out and didn't make it like Buff Bagwell. From reading Kevin Nash's website back then, he was still under a long term contract with Turner Entertainment which owned WCW, therefore, he couldn't sign with WWE.

I don't remember specifically about why Sting didn't go to the WWE, but I somewhat remember that the WWE didn't want him.

Sting (Steve Borden) initially didn't go to the WWE because he was still under contract with WCW under a no competition clause, so legally he couldn't without breaking the contract. This is also why it took Goldberg so long to make his way over to WWE. As for now Sting is working for TNA wrestling, which let's him work a less demanding schedule so he can spend time with his family.

Sting never wrestled for WWE. Not all WCW wrestlers have wrestled for WWE. Vampiro, Sitng, Insane Clow Posse etc.

Sting, who is arguably one of the most popular American Proffesional Wrestlers of all time, has never wrestled in the WWE & it looks like he never will due to personal reasons of his own.

The substitute between Hogan and Undertaker's victories is that Hogan is greater dominant over a typical self-discipline (unique PPVs, etc). Undertaker's Streak is its own gimmick as sturdy as aside of his own gimmick. Undertaker has lost to his functional share of high-quality and unsafe wrestlers - he even gained eradicated via skill of Maven on the Royal Rumble. MAVEN! Hogan wins for the sake of worthwhile to advance his ego. representation of Hogan's ego: a 2d journey grew to become into scheduled between Hogan and HBK the place Shawn might win; Hogan subsidized out of it (complained he had a bad knee) only so he would not lose. triumphing a majority of fits, unfairly or now not, isn't standard to the main suitable kayfabe wrestler. To be the high-quality kayfabe wrestler, you additionally could desire to have the group helping/for sure hating you, based on your gimmick. the group is an significant an area of a kayfabe tale and that they are used via the wrestlers to enhance the plot. In kayfabe, while a wrestler wins or loses unfairly it was ninety 9% of the time intentional and as a consequence would not discredit a wrestler from being the main suitable kayfabe wrestler. this is doing precisely what's planned. while finding at it from a state the area you're able to have suspended your disbelief, tt does, regardless of the reality that, shed destructive gentle on the wrestler. "He had to cheat/use outdoors interference as quickly as greater to win!?" and various others. BQ: Win/Loss records could be incredibly pointless using fact the outcomes are predetermined and are not maximum suitable to the teach or sport of expert-wrestling. Wins and losses are best maximum suitable to create a setup in studies, they at the instant are not generic like championship reigns are. except the win/loss tale is ongoing (e.G. Undertaker's streak), this is thoroughly irrelevant using shown fact that wrestling is concerning to the present day, not the earlier. no person cares approximately Cody Rhodes's dropping streak a million-2 years interior the previous; even if so, the win/loss thought was interested in his losses to setup a tale.
