this is the 3rd day for me taking Amoxicillian for a vaginal infection - beta hemolytic steptecoosus group 2 . Does anyone know what this is? Im very concerned. My doc said its just like yeast infection so i dont have to worry. The antibotic should take care of it.

My friends are going to Vegas to party for the weekend. Can I stop taking it this afternoon, drink Sat and Sunday and start taking the medicine again ono Monday afternoon? What would happen if i do this? Anyone tried before? Does it make my situation worse?

I looked on this website and they said that there are no food or beverage restictions while on this antibiotic. I would continue to take it over the weekend and not just stop. Stopping the antibiotic may cause the infection to get worse or not clear up in a timely mannor. Check out the website and search for amoxicillin if you have any more questions!

I wouldn't. What do you want - health problems, or be healthy? Be the DD this weekend and drink free soda's and watch your friends get goofy. Bring a camera and you'll have some good "material" for future favours...

Please ask your pharmacist, doctor, or other health care professional. You are not likely to get accurate information from a bunch of people with no qualifications!

Have you read the package insert that came with the meds? I think they usually say not to take any breaks.

Dr's say if you drink while on antibiotics they aren't as affective, and some could make you sick. I would call the pharmacy.
