honda is famous for it's reliability and dependability. plus, the crv is one of the most popular suvs on the road. i figure all those people had good reasons to purchase their crvs.
i suggest looking at other brands too, because the crv and saturn vue aren't necessarily the best ones.

I would compare the fuel efficiency (gas mileage). Do you have children? I would also consider how much leg space there is in the back seat. How comfortable the seats are, especially if you are going to be doing any long distance traveling. I test drove the Saturn Vue and was very uncomfortable in it because the seats were so hard.
