She is probably a lot happier than if she had married. Nothing wrong with illegitimate children.

Dose any one care about Wedlock any more? Are there any kids not born out of Wedlock? It happens every day. Wheather the mom use married or not dose that matter. I know someppl think you will got to hell for it but as long as the baby is heathly and the family is happy why should it matter if mom is wearing a ring or not. I think good for her for having a baby. CONGRATS to her.

Well first off I have to say that she picked a name for her daughter that will scar her for life,'Bluebell Madonna'.Second of all, unless you are extremely religious then children out of wedlock is very common. Most children aren't planned pregnancy's,so it's not a surprise.I say good for Geri and I wish her the best of luck.

good luck to her. Many people have kids out of wedlock these days it's no big issue anymore so long as the child has loving parents.

I mean I was planning on having a child with my partner once we got a place of our own, and getting married, but it didn't quite work out as we planned, we had a baby boy a year ago next month, and we don't have a place of our own, as she lives with her parents, and I live with my Nan, but no there is nothing wrong with it, as times have changed, I am engaged, but want to get a place before we get married first, I don't agree with girls who sleep around, and get pregnant, and there is several different fathers, we taxpayers have to pay them benefits, that is when you have to draw the line!

Nowadays it doesn't matter to have a child out of wedlock so it don't mean anything to me. As long as she is happy (and she looks it) and mother & child are healthy and well looked after, then its fine by me.

None of us are perfect, If that what makes her happy and she loves and cares for the child, it doesn't matter what anyone think of the way the child came into the world.

Why is having a child out of wedlock a good thing? Unless the father is a jerk.

It is her personal choice. It isn't like it was years ago where it was so bad to do that. Seems everyone does it that way. Though I believe it should be marriage before children. I guess that is like an old school thing.

Couldn't care less about her, but I'm wondering if the replies would have been any different if this question had been in the religion and spirituality category.
