I was a professor at the University of Southern California -- a school that sends a lot of graduates to Hollywood in one capacity or another. There is a great school of cinema and television at SC; though the students might not want to get in on the agent side of the business, opportunities might arise here through contact with the industry. Many of the top agencies hire MBA grads (who begin with brief stints in the mailroom and work their way up from there). Undergraduate business students aspiring to agency are thus also common. It's not uncommon to find students who secure internship positions while still in school. Given that agents need to know about the business side of things ... business is always a good bet. Plus, if the agenting thing doesn't work out, you're well-positioned to get another job!
