Get a standard first. Beefing up an automatic is kinda ricey, if i were you i would just lower it with springs (not cut), tint the windows, get a nice exhaust (catback preferibly) and maybe get an intake. But I would'nt go any further personally.

Lonny, it doesn't sound like u r going to do the work urself. 2dr/4dr does not matter for one thing. What does "other stuff" mean? Heavy duty shocks in the back seat? Think it through and be prepared to spend some serious $$$$$ and get NO return on your investment, unless that doesn't matter.

it rather is the manumatic function interior the automobile tranny. you do not might desire to hold the gas pedal ever whilst moving up or down, and it will artwork at even though velocity you're doing. in case you do not understand plenty approximately agressive using, you prefer to start up conserving at eye on your tach rpm. whilst moving down, your rpm will bypass up a pair thousand revs. determine you're decrease than the max velocity for that kit, as a fashion to not burn your engine out. even with the reality that there is a rev limiter on your automobile, the temporary rev spike continues to be undesirable for the engine. once you get the dangle of it with some practice, it is going to likely be rather exciting to play around with on a similar time as using speedy, through fact you could administration the potential transport earlier to time.

start small and work your way up. start with a cold air intake, and exhaust that doesnt sound like a damn chain saw. then get headers, and start porting out the top 1/2 of the engine. then you can think about cams, pistons, rods, and turbos.
hope this helps.
