Well there have been a lot of thefts around my area and I can't put up a fence around my property (yet) because of construction next door. Is there a simple solution? Like a small structure i can build or a lock?

build a burglar bar type box around it. have it cemented at the base.....thats some rough s*it when your central is stolen.

Pour yourself a line of concrete around the bottom of that sucker! Enough to make at least a 3-4" high foundation!

sounds like a not so nice neighborhood! if you have an alarm system you can add a sensor to cover the unit, if not get a cheap alarm for a window and install it where it cant be seen. lots of luck.

make some kind of cage to put around. maybe made of chainlink fence. where do you live by the way jeez. who the hell steals central air?
