I like Piper - she's very grounded and earth-mothery. She actually had the figure of a normal woman and didn't present the image of a stick figure as the beacon of beauty! I thought Holly Marie Combs did a great job of playing her. I thought her delivery was fantastic and she always looked just a little pained at the "airiness" of her sisters. The show could have survived any of the girls leaving - except for the Piper character. I think she was the glue. You?

Yeah, I agree...Piper...I loved her and Leo together...but then again, I loved the storyline of Phoebe and Cole...I'm just a sucker for a good romance.

The former because IMO she was the "glue" & the one who was the most maternal/ matriarch in holding the Halliwell girls together.
It was only in her absence, I felt that Piper stepped up & took over. Even at times, I wish that Piper would just loosen up a little;)
As for the latter, I think she's by far the most carefree "Charmed" one. Her personality in some way matches mine though the girls' outfits leave much to be desired.
