Town planning, approving building consents, sorting out indigenous people's land claims, environmental monitoring. I'm not a geographer but it's amazing how big a part satellite measurements and images now play in geography, and how much they can tell you. You can even make a rough estimate of a country's population density and GDP by looking at its street lighting from space. Try googling The World At Night.

first of all a meteorologist must study physics not geography and a map maker is really a cartographer. But the world of Geography offer many different jobs. Researcher, GIS tech, tripper, travel agent, teacher, professor, climatologist, the list goes on.

You could be a teacher. Teachers are in short supply. I imagine that there is a school out there that is in need of a World Geography teacher.
