There are a total of 11 dimensions in all, but human kind cannot fathom what these would be like...we can only imagine.

The 4th dimension is time. However, some theoretical physicist believe that time is a figment of our imagination and that there is no universe: there are multiverses. Each multiverse is an instant in time and they all stack up like pages in a book. The theory is that we always move in order from any given multiverse to the next one in the sequence. Therefore, time travel is not possible. (According to this theory.) However, there is a theory taht if we could reduce ourselves to the quantum level, we may be able to jump from this multiverse to a different one, which would therefore be at a different time. This idea was the central idea in Michael Crichton's novel "Timeline".

Time is the fourth dimension and if you wann know how it looks like, just look around! It is interwoven with the existing three dimension - time passes.
