I'd love to have a cup of coffee with Tom Ripley.
(Tom Ripley is the character of a series of novels writen by Patricia Highsmith)
He is such a complex character and his development through the series takes him from a "third class mooch" (as he was called in the first book, The talented Mr. Ripley) to the mannor born, sophisticated man who loves to cook souflees but could strangle you in a train bathroom.

Dorian Gray from The Picture of Dorian Gray. He represents society's worst fears and is the classic egocentric male.

The main character from Death of a Salesman. For some reason I'm attracted to tragic characters.

Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye because he really does crack me up. And he views the world unlike anyone else.
Or Eddie from The Five People You Meet in Heaven.. I'd love to hear about his journey in heaven, in more detail.

I'd enjoy a chat with Anne Shirley, from Anne of Green Gables. Or maybe with one of the hobbits from Lord of the Rings.

Zarathustra from Friedrich Nietze's 'Also sprach Zarathustra'. That book is fascinating - one of the rare about which I can say it REALLY changed my life.
