whether they like it or not is probably besides the point as elephants aren't scared of anything, mice shaped or otherwise. When you're that big, things tend to either get out of your way or get squashed, and if they're trying to be scary whilst they do it doesn't affect the elephant in the slightest. I often had to stay up during the night to make sure no elephants walked through our camp, as they'll just step on your tent if its between them and where they want to go.

i doubt it... i think it is used more of a joke cuz how could somehting so big and powerfull be scared of somehting so small and weak..
