It echoed my thoughts exactly. I am a die hard Packer fan and I hope that they will get on the road to recovery soon. I would like to call this a rebuilding seson, but it is not. With guys like Woodson and Favre as starters, it takes away from the inevitable rebuilding process that needs to occur now. It just means they will win 6 games instead of 4 that they would have with all younger players starting. But who needs two more wins anyway if it means that you will still be far from the playoffs. Those two wins also give you a worse spot for the draft order.

i agree with you and at the same time why dont they go for the worse record in football so they can have the best draft pick and easiest schedule for next year??

I'm a Bears fan but still worried about the seaon opener. Favre always manages to make the game close. It's your turn to be down for a few years.

How are they in a hard division?
The division is dominated by the Bears, which granted is hard, but the Lions are über-soft, and the vikings don't have any superstar caliber players beyond their O-Line.
But yes, Favre should call it quits. He's old. And should retire and join the Bus commentating.

It is going to be an ugly season for your Packers. I am a Bears fan and hate the Packers, but I hope too that you recover soon, because it takes away the fun of beating you when you suck! I like us to be on an even level.

Yes i did. They are screwed and are in one of the harder divisions. They are going to have a long year. Favre should call it quits. he just does not have a surrounding cast
