Yes.
"Now the five-year survival rate for early invasive cancer of the cervix is 92 percent. The overall five-year survival rate (for all stages combined) is about 70 percent. For non-invasive cervical cancer, the five-year survival rate is nearly 100 percent."

yes
if you're treated early
#2 most deadly cancer for women, so don't sleep with people who can give you hpv, and get your pap smears every year, and biopsy if you need it
EDIT: it's nothing to fool with. the mortality rate of cervical cancer is the 2nd highest of any cancer of women. Don't take it lightly and just think 'oh, they'll just take my uterus and cervix out.' It's rarely that simple. If you have in fact been diagnosed, get treatment ASAP.
Edit #2: there's a difference between 'cancer' and a pre-cancer, often called a dysplasia or a metaplasia. When true cancer is found, more systemic treatment has to be done, often the complete removal of the cervix, chemotherapy. Pre-cancerous lesions are often scraped away, and therefore never progress to cancer, but a true cervical cancer diagnosis is very serious.

Cervical cancer has the highest survival rate of all cancers.
Detected early and it is most of the time detected early, because of bleeding, the person will have a hysterectomy and all will be well. They check if the ovaries are fine and sometimes take them out as a precaution.

i BELIEVE CERVICAL CANCER IS JUST LIKE ANY OTHER CANCER. IF YOU CATCH IT EARLY ENOUGH WITH YOU ARE BARELY DEVELOPING THE CANCEROUS CELLS IT CAN BE CURED. IF WORST CAME TO WORST I THINK THEY COULD ALSO GIVE YOU A HYSTERECTOMY AND YOU JUST CANT HAVE KIDS. THIS IS SIMPLY MY OWN OPINION BUT I SUGEST YOU ASK A DOCTOR FOR A MORE THOUGH ANSWER. =)

definatly, lots of people have and continue to this day...yes it is one of the most deadliest types, but that is only because of lack of screening...fewer women see an OBGYN or gyno on a fairly regular basis...but plenty of us go to the doctors if we even have the sniffles..

Of coarse you can, I know only one girl, which had it (15 years ago). She is very alive and very happy. Just follow up treatment.
And soon results will show up.

Sure you can. Have you been diagnosed? Sometimes they will freeze it, sometimes they may rmove a portion of it, or perhaps take your entire cervix. Good luck, dont be scared.
