My 96 Buick Skylark has many electrical failures, including the radio, clock, interior lighting, automatic door unlock, and the rear defroster. I've checked the battery, alternator, relays, and the fuses: all work perfectly fine and are in good condition. What could be the problem?

I have had a bulkhead connector come loose. It was a ground connector that was just pressed into the firewall. The wires dropped away and it took awhile for me to find the problem. I took the stud off the wires and cleaned a new spot on the firewall and screwed in a self tapping Screw. It was the same problem I had, not even the radio worked. You need to find where your common ground is for all these things. Manuals always help.

If all the problems are in the interior of the vehicle could be the bulkhead connector, the place where all the wires enter the car from the engine compartment. Check the connector and harness.
Behind the glove box is the main ground stud for these systems, could be the stud has rusted.

First get a repair manual and follow each circuit to see if they ever join in a single cable or junction block. In other words, the common denominator. If that don't get it, look for mouse turds or shredded paper or nesting material. Mice eat the insulation off wires causing them to short out. If the various wires of your problems pass through a single opening, conduit, or harness, that would answer your question.
