Have you ever given an off the wall answer quietly without emphasis? "Oh we're still having problem disposing of the bodies but I guess things could be worse, how's it with you?"

If I'm doing well and am happy.. then it doesn't bother me, I'm like, "yup, whatever, I'm good, how bout you?" But if I mad about something, then yes, it annoys me. Especially if you start to explain that you've "been better" and yadda yadda and you can tell the person really doesn't care and/or isn't listening. :|
