I like and use www.godaddy.com.
As mentioned you can search for cheap domains and web hosting on any search engine. There are also quite a few comparison engines, one is www.findmyhosting.com or www.hostcompare.com.
If you are a non-profit, I like www.acornhost.com

Type cheap or free webhosting in the yahoo search bar press the enter key and start picking through the links, and you will find what you want.
