As an old EBay buyer (since 1999), I would estimate between $35 and $50. It helps if the battery holds a charge and you have the AC adapter. You didn't mention if it had Office 97 or Microsoft Works. That does up the price a few dollars. It's actually not a bad computer for someone to get started with, but it is limited as to how far it could be upgraded.

I've bought a similar laptop for around $28.00, but that was a good buy and about a year ago. Have you thought about donating it to a charity or church for a tax deduction? It's a good cause and there's no hassle of shipping involved.

20-30$ do a low starting price to get many interested bidders to start out with. You'll increase your chances of a bidding war that way. Because someone will buy it, it's just not worth that much.

It would be impossible to sell.

Unless someone really need old parts or wanted it for the screen, otherwise $20 is a good deal. SELL!

You can ask a few shop-keepers/dealers at you local. They might give you an approximate value. Also you can ask your friends how much they might have paid if taken this one.

My price for this one is Rs. 5,000 max.

put it this way. shipping for something like that would be around $20. be thankful if you get even half of that for the laptop.
