god is a living evolving idea in our minds that is with us from the time of prehistory and before mental, scientific and philosophical understanding. We didn't create it and it didn't create us but without some conception of god we surely would have self destructed a long time ago, and without us to think of god it would have no way of manifesting itself in this world. And the fact that ideas or conceptions exist without a physical form means that everyones version of god is true and real because it is to them. It's function is to serve as a guide, a support, a thinking aid and force for creation at it's best and as a mind closing tool of manipulation, exploitation violence and destruction at it's worst. It all depends on what a particular persons vision of god is in there mind.

I think all evidence points to us creating God. There are too many easily seeable, earthly motives in too many religious groups and figures for me to believe otherwise. I can see the psychology behind it, and I've yet to discover any proof for God's existence. So, going by probable cause, we created God.

Yes, there is a GOD. No "we" did not create him He is "alpha and omega" By Him all things were made through HIM and for HIM. The human body is such an intetresting creation that it is impossible to think that we just popped up from somewhere. Have you ever looked at a "headache" ? But yet you know it's real. Have you ever seen the wind blow? But yet you feel it. Yes God is real for I can feel HIM in my soul.

I believe the concept of God came from the people who wanted to control human behaviour..They created this fearsome entity that would destroy you if you didnt obey the rules and make nice...Anyway, who's to say Moses wasnt on crack when he heard the voice? Hard to prove.....

depends on what you call God. If you mean the intelligence behind all form substance and energy, no we did not create it. If you mean grey haired man in a white robe...manufactured.

Both. God exists but I don't think we really know him. the one we think we know is the one we created.
