It is not known with any degree of certainty why the population is right-hand dominant.
According to scientific theory, the right-side of the body is controlled by the left hemisphere of the brain, and visa-versa. In right-handed people, the left hemisphere of the brain is the dominant hemisphere[4].
A recent study[5] found that right-handers use the right-side of the brain to focus on an entire image, but the left-side of the brain to focus on details within an image.
Being right-handed does not always mean that the favored foot is also on the right side. When playing soccer for instance, many people prefer using their left foot rather than the right, despite being right-handed[6]

Yea i was reading that left handed ppl are smarter than right handed ppl! I didnt belive it till i saw that most left handed ppl accomplished more than right handed ppl! And theres less left handed ppl than right handed! I'm left handed so i really think this is true

Because humans are created in the image of God. God is right handed. Those people who are left handed belong to Satan & should be burnt to death...they had the right idea in the 17th century.

Because most people think primarily with the left side of their brain....well Im left handed so I think mostly with the right side of my brain

because the people that are right handed had baies with someone right handed therefore doubling, then everyone did it, now most are right handed.

its the more dominant gene. people would need two left genes (gg) where right handed people only need one or two.(Gg) or(GG). Some people like me are ambidextrious though and we can use our right and left hands for certain things!
