Should people under 18 be prevented from watching TV, listening to music, playing games, writing and mailing letters, talking on the phone, shopping, or reading the news? Those are all offline experiences made better by the Internet and safe (usually) for someone under 18. So the answer to your question is an emphatic no.

No. Children of junior high school age need this tool for research. As parents, we need to monitor closely what those under 18 are seeing on the 'net, not ban them altogether.
