do people really ride on goats ??

No!!! The bone and muscle structure of a goat is not strong enough to support a person. Some people use goats as pack animals, they can carry up to 35 pounds, but unless they are in very good shape and well conditioned anymore weight is to much.

this is not a joke,and i have photographs to prove it, many years ago a small boy weighing about twenty five pounds rode a huge nubianbuck goat whitch weighed over two hundred pounds in a parade here in my hometown. some man walked and lead the buck.the boys father walked along beside the animal in order to rescue the child in case it became nesicary

kids can. and only if the goat is a large breed. but they pull carts all the time. with regular size people.

why would you want to ride a goat? don't you have horses, or ponies, or even donkeys where u live?

In our local Little Britches rodeo, the kids do....it's their version of bull riding.

Yes, I raised Nubians and my boys, when they were little would hop on them and ride them.

They could if they're VERY small and lightweight. Horses are much better suited for this though.
