I have for years get to where I see what you are refering to as "writhing lights, and like a zig zaging lights and when I try to look at something, it seems like I can only see like part of the object. I have been to a few Doctors with this complain and they have all asured me that it was just that I was going to get a bad headache, and I do usually get a headache as it is clearing. It usually lasts for about twenty minutes. One Doctor told me once that if it ever lasted for maybe a couple of hours, that I should go to the hospital, cause it could be a mini stroke, but it has never lasted more then about twenty or twenty five minutes. Hope that this helps you Maggie

I get flashing multicoloured squiggles and spots. I normally get them when I am really tired and normally I get a headache shortly after it starts. I have heard about people getting similar things when they get migranes so I thought it was related to that. My headaches are never bad enough to describe as a migrane but there is definately a connection. Dont think it is anything serious. I normally try to drink lots of water, have some headache tablets and then go to sleep.

I used to when I was younger. I dont think I still do, but I wondered what caused that, I also used to 'feel' I was hearing a spiral kinda sound from afar. lol
exactly as you mentioned it, for real.
btw it is not drugs or anything.
I dont think its a medical condition, its just normal and I feel only special people experience it cos I am special and I hope you are.
