Which is better, and why?

It is unique and I always wanted someone to do a real-time show. If I watch one show I will stay up all night because I want to know what happens next.
Lost is great but I think it's like a zombie or end-of-the-world movie since it's about an isolated group of people that survive and what happens with them. And also I still don't know what the monster-thing is and I've watched two seasons. What do YOU think?

I think most people say 24 as its fast paced action with loads of good subplots & twists - its well written too & I enjoy watching it but...
I personally prefer Lost - Its slightly more confusing than 24 with its many characters and their stories but you never know what twist is coming next and the whole being lost on an island thing is pure escapsism

I prefer Lost, I enjoy the intricate, slower development of the plot line. The criss-crossing of people's lives and what all the tid-bits of information might mean.
It's a little X-Files-y- which I also enjoyed, but I think comparing Lost and 24 are like comparing apples and oranges.

Lost, I guess, I have never seen 24. Lost is just one of those stupid shows that you can't help but keep watching week after week. I just want to know what it was in the jungle that kept shaking the trees and where did the giant polar bears come from.

LOST! because lost has so many different weird things happening all the time, and i really never know what is going to happen next, i feel like 24 is more predictable.

24 has more action which I prefer in shows. Lost has a lot of drama and will just keep you waiting for that big moment.

LOST!!! And why? because I have never seen 24. I am interested in watching it, but I am sick of cop dramas. LOST is just so much different. It also has great writing, acting, and it can be viewed simply for pleasure or at a more intellectual level.

24 is the better show. How can any show with a title like "Lost" be any good??? Think about it...."Land of the Lost" and "Lost in Space", and now add "Lost"......the "Lost" list of bad tv shows continues to grow.

Both are equally good for different reason.
Lost is a big puzzle, 24 is the time crunch
