It's not that bad things happen to good people, it seems like that because when "bad people" have the same occurrence they seem not to give a Sh!t and move on. As comparison to a good person, we tend to wonder why us instead of " live and let live" or "suck it up and drive on"... Bad things happen to all people. bbuuuuut! we all look at them in very different ways .

If only bad things happened to bad people, and only good things happened to good people, then all the good people would be bad, and all the bad people would be good.

Good things and bad things happen to all of us, but life certainly isn't fair in carrying this out. It might depend on what you call "bad". A man on the job may be strong and take initiative and get the promotion, but did he step on people to make it happen? Did he lie and take credit for what he didn/t do? I always wanted to see fairness take place in the workforce, but it didn't always happen. When good things happen to good people, maybe they just enjoy it and don/t make a big fuss about it. Good things don't always happen to bad people, they will get their share of bad luck before it's over.

That is true it does happen from time to time, but I suspect more bad things happen to bad people then good it's just when something good happens it's so out of the norm everyone takes note of it.

Point taken. Why is that exactly?
My view is they (bad people) are bolder & more willing to take risks, therefore more opportunities open up for them is my explanation anyway.
However, they get their just desserts because like the rest of us are working our way up the legitimate way... these "bad guys" will have the powers that be (the lawmakers, etc) to set them right.

Watever happens to whomever, just believe in karma. What you do is what you get in return. Perhaps those bad guys had done something good behind your back. How sure are you?

Karma evens it in the end, but you have many lifetimes (in some religions' belief, anyway) with which to even. But no matter really. Because you should only be worried about your own salvation, your own person.

Jeremiah asked the same question:

"Righteous are you, O LORD,
when I complain to you;
yet I would plead my case before you.
Why does the way of the wicked prosper?
Why do all who are treacherous thrive?"
