I see where you're coming from. I'll have to look through your Q&A sometime, because I have a theory on who is giving you all the thumbs-down. It's probably the same sheep who are giving ME thumbs-down, even though I'm an Independent moderate.
They're the people who accuse everyone who disagrees with them of being "neocon hackers" with "multiple profiles."
Oh, and their favorite thing: "Their opinions are WRONG."
How can an opinion be wrong, unless it's not backed by facts? Dumb people.

Well, frankly until this one I hadn't seen any of your questions (I'm usually in answering questions about insurance and registration). But it took me three readings of your run on sentence to get an idea of what you were asking.
As I result, I looked up some of your other questions. If you don't mind me saying so, a lot of your questions are poorly asked, insulting in some way, and show a lack of research on your part. For example, your one about why Bush ordered the National Guard around since he didn't have that authority, when a bit of research would show you he clearly DOES have that authority.
I won't give a thumbs down to any question that is asked honestly and the person is seeking knowledge. But even here you seem to be assuming that you are getting a thumbs down only because you are asking Republican questions. That is not necessarily true, I think you will find most, if not all questions will get a thumbs down regardless of subject if they are poorly written.
For example, in cars, maintenace, questions get thumbs down if they are on the order of "My car won't run, why not?" (Not enough information to tell) or "Why do all Fords suck?" (some do, not all) or the ones clearly not in the right category.
Bottom line, unless you see a need to change the way you ask, iignore the thumbs down you get. Or just as an experiment, you might try asking a question without unneeded editorial comments like "anti-fanatical Republicans..." and see what happens.

Ones like KooKoo do it because they are ignorant. They cannot face facts and ignore them when they are presented to them. They forget the fact that they have continually insulted others, made reference tomurdering republicans, etc. To them that does not matter. Anything that is against the uber-lib agenda is inherently wrong to them. Their warped views, based on misinformation, propaganda, and pure hatred have clouded their judgement. Even if a great question is asked from the opposing viewpoint, they cannot accept it for what it is, simply a good question. They spew the lies so much that they eventually start believing them. Unless they open their minds up to facts, explainations, and how the world really works, they will continue their warped behavior. And it is very unfortunate.

I see it both in questions and answers. Sometimes I am very sure it is because people do not like my views, other times when certain people post in the same places I do I know I will get thumbs down from them no matter what I say. Frankly I don't worry about thumbs up/down. My views are my views, and they don't change based on what other people think of them. I don't ask/answer questions as part of any popularity contest, rather it is because the subject interests me for some reason at the time.
See what I mean, I am getting thumbs down right now. I don't see anything particularly objectionable about this post, but Cest La Vie!
Roger Y: I agree with your concept, but I would submit that it applies to both sides pretty evenly, not just Republicans.

Liberals can never win an argument where they have to present reasonable and coherent facts. If you have ever tried to have a discussion with a liberal concerning any divisive topic, you will see that what happens is that they will begin to talk faster and louder, thus preventing you from getting a word in edge wise so that they can claim victory by default. They can never just sit and discuss anything in an adult fashion, each person presenting their side of the subject and weighing that data intelligently. Their only form of debate is attacks and slander. They are so blinded by their hatred for Bush that they have no intention to listen to anything that would contradict that. So the fact that you are getting a lot of negative marks for any question, intelligent or not, does not surprise me one bit.
Hahahaha, liberals, they are so predictable it is scary!

Some people are just contrarians. I never give a bad mark to a question that is asked decently even if the asker is trying to make a point I don't like.
Good example:
SHIRAZ usually asks questions that just tick me off and he uses insulting language - thumbs down.
A couple of time, he asked simple questions about peoples' opinions on tax reform - thumbs up.
That's the way I do it - others are just going to give thumbs down because it gives them some bizarre rush to anonymously disapprove of someone regardless of opinion.

Many republican questions are either worn out from asking, or are out to directly attack the democrats. Not saying all, but a lot of them are.

We all tend to have very strong viewpoints in politics, otherwise we would not be reading political questions. Wars have been fought over politics, so negative responses should be expected.
Keep asking & you may get an inspired answerone day. Keep it clean & name calling to minmum. Good luck!

If the questions and answers were correct they wouldn't have poor marks to them. Didn't you attend a school of some sort, or did you quit or get kicked out because you couldn't get along with anyone?
