I support support President Bush and the war effort. The media blitz has distroyed the leadership in the White House. It has derailed a very sucessful war effort and has shown the world that America would rather be Liberal and dead than be alive and free. It has shown that you can take a good man like President Bush and distroy his self confidence to where he is gun shy to get before a microphone.

The smartest man in America said that the war front was sucessful until the weak willed war protesters told the world that they did not have the guts to stand up and fight for the liberty of our wives and children.

If it was a Christian thing to do I would tell the Liberal News Media to kiss my ----. But it's not a Christian thing to do but voting out every Democrat from dog catcher to Senator is. and I will.

Did somebody miss the meds this morning?

Take an extra med to catch up. I have never said that the war front was successful, and yes, I am the smartest man in America.

Just what do you fantasize the war successfully accomplished?

Whether or not Iraq was the right place or time to go to war isn't the question any more. One can't go back in time; just like one can't become a virgin again. The question becomes what does one do from here.

If we leave before there is some semblance of order there will be a Cambodia like killing fields or Vietnam re-education camps. If the Iraqi's truly wish the US out, They'd have peace for at least a year. The US would leave, then if the Iraqis could have their civil war.

You will never hear the press say this. That takes long term though. The rioters don't want to have it said, because the masses might like each other if their state in the economy grew.

What makes you think you are better than anybody else. Heck, what makes Americans think they have the right to teach anybody else in the world how to live? See, if you were to teach the world how to be "civilized" like Bush is trying to do with Irak, why not start with China or Russia? The answer is so simple it slips your feeble mind. America is nothing but an international bully, like the ones the Americans are trying to teach. Bullies only pick on weaker people, hence the invasion of Irak to "teach" them the right ways. By the way, this invasion has economic motives behind, not moral ones.

In the domestic front, the Bush administration, like any other government administration is trying to manipulate the peoples' will through the use of fear tactics. If they hadn't created the terrorists threats, they wouldn't have been able to move anyone in the direction they wanted. About the only time a president can move the Nation unchecked to the tunes of his own will and policy is in time of war. So the issue is simple really; if there is no war, create one. Hence 911, retaliation, invasion, etc.

So, if you would rather "support" president Bush and the war effort instead of opening your mind to the logical possibilities, so be it. But don't expect everybody else to believe the crap, at least not in this day and age.

The war against islamofascism is critical to the free world and I find it extremely sad that the socialists in Congress would use that and the Iraqis freedom just to gain power. It is disgusting beyond belief.

What you read in the majority of the media daily is a direct reflection of the socialist/democrat propaganda machine. If you doubt me take a look at their websites.

I would like to point out however that there are some good Democrats in congress and there are some bad republicans. This is a problem in that you cannot realistic just vote out one party. The dem party has been hijacked by socialists, pacifists and greenies, a very small minority with media support and a great propaganda machine.

Might I suggest that you look instead at trying to rid congress of career politicians as they are the ones who are screwing up our country all for their wealth and power. Congress will never vote for term limits and we can let them know through emails and with our votes that we strongly disagree.

Liberalism, socialism and pacifism however have NO place in our congress and those are the ones you need to remove from office first.

It isn't the media that's undermining support for the war, it's the facts. It's the truth. Can you deny any of the following?

Fact 1) Saddam, although a brutal dictator to his own people, did not have WMDs. President Bush has acknowledged this. [ http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/08/20060821.html ] (scan down to the reporter Q&A's)

Fact 2) Congress voted to give President Bush the authority to go to war because his Administration said that it had rock-solid evidence that Saddam had WMDs. Obviously, it did not.

Fact 3) Saddam never had any meaningful links to al-Qaeda. This has just been confirmed by the Senate Intelligence committee, which is bipartisan (six Democrats and seven Republicans, including right-wingers Orrin Hatch and Trent Lott). [ http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060908/ap_on_go_co/iraq_report ]

Common sense indicates that the war was unnecessary, and never threatened the lives or freedom of Americans.

It's funny how people with a certain mindset think alike. After Germany lost the First World War the Nazis came up with exactly the same reason as you for losing the war. In German it's called "Dolchstosslegende" (myth of being stabbed in the back).
Your arguments show that what you certainly don't have is common sense.

the only people without common sense are the ones that chant 'bush lied, people died...' and however it ends.
its turned into a bigger issue than what were originally said in the declaration of war against iraq, the weapons of mass destruction werent going to be found in iraq since saddam had about 18 months to move them to syria and the other surrounding countries, so of course they wont be found in iraq.
most of the problems in iraq have been fixed, the things going on now are subsidiary of whats going on in the entire region, people are blowing themselves up all over the middle east, just not in bagdhad,l but the liberal media wont tell you that.
i dont think the liberal media blitz has made mr bush gun shy to speak in public, its just not worth his while to do it anymore since he will only hear the same 4 questions that the alphabet soup networks ask.
the current situation in the entire middle east boils mostly down to, would you rather fight the 'islamofascists' on their territory or fight them on our own homeland? there is no middle ground in this fight, they want to kill us, and theyll sacrifice their own children and wives to make sure the infadel is dead. look at whats going on in iran too, the more the world delegates try to talk the head mullah out of uranium enrichment, the more they chase their own tails. just wait until they get a nuke, say goodbye to washington dc, new york city, boston, pick a city on the east coast, it will be inhabitable for about 10000 years. or worse, iran nukes israle, then israel will definatly retalliate and turn iran into a parking lot.
so i suppose the people that think this the war in iraq, being a smaller picture to the the war on picture, actually must an 'islamofascist,' they just didnt bother to tell anybody when they decided to run for office.
the majority of america is asleep at the wheel, and i fear that it will be too late when they awaken, their throats will already be cut and blood will be all over the steering wheel.

I think we went to war for the wrong reasons, but I realize now that we're involved it would be stupid (not to mention unethical) to back out. We need to finish helping Iraq establish their government.

I'm not an avid supporter of President Bush - I don't think he's done really well, because I believe rather than invading Iraq he should have continued focusing America's attention on finding Bin Laden. But I don't agree with the crazed liberal hate-mongering either.

Well said! People, for the most part, who are against this war are too lazy to find the real facts. They rely on the Main Stream Press for their information who no longer report the news instead, they try to make the news.

I hate to be the one to tell you this but good sense you dont have.
Educate yourself on the dynamics of the ME and then you will see what a serious mess we have made of things. Driving ourselves to follow someone leading us over a cliff is not good sense.
If anything is not working for us -then its a good sign that we need to change that policy. Wrong at any cost is plain suicide. This administration seems to be stuck on tunnell vision and totally resistant to correcting their course.
You sound like one of our Hypnotized Americans, unable to hear anything but the voice of the hypnotist: When told to see a new flavor of the month "Boogie man" (the Islamic-Fascists) under every rock, you parrot and see them with relish!
