130 lbs for 5'4" is normal. If you feel that your body is a little on the non-curvy side yet, don't worry about it. women's bodies don't stop growing and get to the shape they are supposed to be until they are in their 20s sometimes. Either way, you will be changing and your body is making the necessary evolvements for the changes that will take place. Don't worry about being stocky at this age, just worry about staying active. If your dad and mom are taller, and you are worried about stretch marks, try vitamin e lotion. That helped me during pregnancy. Keep yourself positive! That's the best way to end up with a good self esteem. Do your best with what you have, and your body will catch up with you. :)

No, you are not fat. And don't compare yourself with the ultra-thin models you see in magazines and TV shows. If your family is stocky, then it is normal for you. Your lifestyle sounds very healthy, and as another poster already mentioned, muscle is heavier than fat. You probably have a heavy bone structure (which makes you so strong) and that's another reason not to compare yourself with light-boned thin girls. You are beautiful in your own way. Stay strong and healthy, and appreciate yourself as you are!

Fat...no. Muscle weighs more than fat. So this no doubt explains "stocky". LOL...you're a farm-fed girl. Nothing wrong with that. Plus...any skinny little loudmouth teeny-bopper that gives you any grief may find herself on the receiving end of a knuckle sandwich.
Don't sweat it kid. You sound just fine.

at 12 years old, you are still too young to say. your body is going through a lot of changes, and chances are, you wont even recognize yourself in a few years.

when i was twelve, i was pretty chubby. soft and flabby, y'know? when i hit 15, i started losing weight and getting taller, growing more into my natural body.

it sounds like you're healthy and active, so dont worry. if you were fat to the point where you needed to really worry about it, you would know, or hopefully your parents would tell you.

you're not fat but watch what you eat. a lot of time females slim down when they hit puberty. you may think of it as fat, but it will shape up, with the help of a little exercise.
