As long as people buy tickets to see them or the products they endorse, they are worth the money. More power to them...

Sure. Although now it's over 600 million dollars. If a squirrel is willing to lay down some cash for some tickets, then the squirrel should have an equal shot at the jackpot. Fair is fair.

No I think it is disgusting.
Children are starving right here in America and peopl who can not even speak proper english are making millions of dollars for tackeling someone, and or acting in a movie. I am all for making money but why not give some to those in need. Set up some programs to help Educate so they can help themselves.

If you don't like what these people get paid - stop paying them. Don't go to the movies or a sports event. It's YOUR money that's paying them.
The reason they get so much and others struggle to get by (including unemployed actors etc.) is that they (the highly paid) are the best at what they do.

Hell, NO! Actually I think actors are more deserving of the money than athletes are. Most athletes make more money than actors, and they are just completely ungrateful. Regardless, I think more money needs to be paid for those out there sacrificing themselves to make the world a better place - Police, teachers, firefighters, military...THOSE people don't make enough money for what they do. It makes me ill to hear those millionaires DEMANDING more money when they don't even deserve to have what they've got.

Athletes' salaries should be limited to one million dollars a year. They're only playing a game.

nobody's worth millions of dollars -- that's why they become so arrogant. it's not fair that people throw away their money, while others starve to death.
