I was working in the tallest building in our city.

Just two days before 9-11, we had a fire drill, and I was telling one of my colleagues that I would jump out of the window, rather than be burned alive.

When it happened, we watched the television and all kept looking out of the windows, expecting to see planes coming at us. No-one felt safe. When they started jumping out of the windows, I could not watch and went home.

It does - I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when the news came through - it felt almost as though the world had stopped that day. For the thousands directly affected the pain will never end.

I'm with you ... where has the time gone.

I'm in Australia and when it happened we were on a flight from Sydney to Cairns. Nothing was told to us on the plane and when we got to Cairns (it was like 1am) I was amazed how easy it was to get onto the tarmac with Clinton's plane right where I could get to it. At this stage the first plane had hit and we were told about it in the taxi. It was so surreal.

Time flies as fast as airplanes sometimes, and can be just as dangerous. so we gotta be all awake, open minded, and united to face our ennemies and stop all major catastrophes. god bless all the innocent souls caused by that violent act of terrorism, which clearly turned a new page in the history of humanity.
