You dont say how old you are. I miss mine occasionally but I am premenopausal. Also stress can stop you from getting your period. Have you had a major life change lately? Like a death in family, job change, divorce or an illness. Also some drugs may delay it for a short time. I would give it another month ( without stressing about it which will only make it worse)and if you dont get it then see a doctor. If you want to make it come ofr sure you could always plan a special night of romance, make reservations for a candlelit dinner with someone special, but a new, drop dead dress in a light color and it will start the same day as your plans. lol. (Sorry but this is when mine always seems to show up)

Hormonal changes can trigger this. Take a pregnancy test. See a doctor. How many periods have you missed? Have you taken a pregnancy test? Could also depend on your age -- if you're older, it could be an early sign of menopause. But I think if you were that old, you would have already seen a doctor about this and not posted this to a web site. So, we're back to the key -- GO SEE A DOCTOR.

If she developes an intestinal flue...
If she goes swimming and cramps up bad, she can miss the next one...
If she has a tumor, or ovarian cyst...
Stress will cause a woman to miss at times...
Taking certain medications will also cause her to miss...
Remember this one thing... If you are taking birth control pills, and you take antibiotics... The antibiotics will CANCEL the birthcontrol pills and YOU WILL GET PREGNANT!!
