Yeah he has a bad reputation but he is great one on one defender. His attitude would be like Charles Barkley of the 92 dream team.

I would choose him as at least a reserve player... he is the BEST defender in the league, people make a big deal out of the brawl, but its not like things like that dont happen in soccer and hockey. michael jordan once punched a teammate in practice, but we all love him regardless. Plus ron-ron proved he can do more than just defense when he played with the kings, he was sometimes the leading point man on the team, while still doing his job on defense. it is just all politics in basketball, thats why we lost and thats why he wont be invited to the team. But JJ Reddick gets arrested for DRUNK DRIVING and it is a slap on the wrist... he could have killed an innocent child, while all ron artest did was punch a few people. So dont try to say that he is irresponsible without saying something about Reddick.

Duh I would have kicked that guys *** in the stands... Throw a beer at me punk lil btch... Ron Artest is one of the hardest working players on the court hands down... He does have an attitude but it would be fire to the team.. All the coaches would have to do would be to take him out if he gets heated.... But going back to the fight, if I recall fans fought back, and ben wallace iniciated the sht that caused the whole thing... Artest was minding his own biz when whack a frickin beer hit him in the face.... I know you would try to knock someones block off if you had just been all angry and hyper about a minute ago!

Yes i agree totaly he wont take any **** out on the floor and he can lock down anyone. He doesnt need the ball to score he moves well and could be part of the "team" the coachs want. Along with Artest we need shaq he would of destroyed that big guy from greece.

Heck Ya,

i think the Americans need a little attitude after the way they've been punked around. Besides that's why you have 11 other guys so if he becomes a cancer you sit his butt on the bench...

H*?! YES!!! I THINK WE NEED A LITTLE BIT OF THAT KIND OF ATTITUDE.....JUST A LITTLE! THAT GUY HAS ALL THE TALENT AND SKILL, DEFENSE AND ON OFFENSE. YOU'RE RIGHT, HE DOES HAVE SOME "BARKLEY" IN HIM, BUT HE ALSO HAS SOME "RODMAN", TOO. I DO LIKE TO SEE THE ATHLETES PERSONALITY COME OUT, AS LONG AS THEY PERFORM TO THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL. I GUESS I'M OLD SCHOOL IN THAT REGARD. I LIKE THE END ZONE CELEBRATION(T.O., BILLY "WHITE SHOES" JOHNSON, BUTCH JOHNSON), DUNKERS(DARYL "CHOCOLATE THUNDER" DAWKINS, DOMINIQUE"HUMAN HIGHLIGHT" WILKINS, JULIUS "DR. J" ERVING, MICHAEL"AIR" JORDAN. ALL THESE GUYS, IN MY OPINION HAD "SOME" TYPE OF ATTITUDE.
