about three months ago, I noticed a knot was pertuding out of the vagina. I thought at first my bladder had dropped, the urologist said it had nothing to do with the bladder. He says the mass is attached to the ureatha. I have problems urinating. Feel full, but unable to go to the bathroom, sometimes just very little.

Masses presenting beneath the urethra are not uncommon. Besides ureteral diverticula, which account for the vast majority of these masses, a multiplicity of heterogeneous benign and malignant tumors have been encountered in this region. To the best of our knowledge, we report the first case of a neuroendocrine tumor, a paraganglioma, discovered in the anatomical compartment between the urethra and vagina. When evaluating a patient with a suburethral mass, it is important to consider paraganglioma as part of the differential diagnosis because unwitting surgical removal of a functional catecholamine-secreting tumor may precipitate a severe hypotensive episode

Jessiekatsopolous you are mean. Why would you say that? I think that you should go to the doctor to make sure that it isn't cancerous.

you need to get the mass removed and biopsied to determine whether it is benign or cancerous.
